Warning:  This blog is not going to be exciting.   We are still learning what God wants Esther's sabbatical to look like.  One aspect is that we don't feel called to see everything our location has to offer.  Esther is taking a living theology class and has a lot of reading.  She is loving being able to read in the daytime when she is alert vs cramming it in before and after work.

Yesterday, we went to Thai Tuesday at the Bell Pub.  The food was delicious and authentic.  We then met the cook who is from Thailand!

On our walk yesterday, we found a children's playground and it had a zip line.  So, the big kid took a ride on it.  I don't know if everyone who reads this has seen Dean Cox's zipline video, but my experience was much less dramatic.

Today we took our longer walk and had bkfst again at the Monk's Yard restaurant.   The food and coffee is delicious.

When we got home, Mia, the cat, was waiting for us and came in out of the cold.  She is now quite comfortable around us and is relaxing on the bed that Esther made for her out of a comforter.

Esther's class is this evening. She is reading and I am working on the computer and we are enjoying the newly installed firebox in the living room.
